Wow! It's been a long time since I updated this blog. I'm at the 2 1/2 year mark and feeling good. The picture attached is me and some good buddies of mine on a fishing trip to Sitka, Alaska back in August of this year.
I also wanted to attach a link to a website for the American Cancer Society. I'm in it believe it or not. I was asked last year to participate in a commercial and here it is:

I also wanted to give an update as to my status.
I'm now 2 1/2 years cancer free. What a feeling! I'm doing great and feel that I'm back to the Dave before cancer.

Dave, read your story when I was googling your name. I teach for the Missile Defense National Team and saw Marjie's name on an upcoming class roster the week of June 27th in Dahlgren.
What a traumatic, tough, and terrifying battle you went through. But you are here to tell about it and that's what counts. I'm proud of you for coming out on top. Would love to visit while I'm in the area the week of the 27th. Drop me a note at bretc65@yahoo.com
